Way Key LP is a company owned equally by the We Wai Kai First Nation and the ROGA Group of Companies. Way Key LP weaves the rich cultural values of We Wai Kai First Nation into our services, providing general timber harvesting services to the mid-Vancouver Island region and self-performing volume on We Wai Kai timber licenses while ensuring environmental sustainability and community development.
Through this partnership between We Wai Kai and the ROGA Group, we are dedicated to fostering lasting benefits for the community by prioritizing meaningful employment opportunities and enhanced capacity building. Way Key LP drives community growth by building capacity through equity in assets and offering comprehensive workforce training programs for employee skill development. Current clients include Western Forest Products, Mosaic Forest Management, Aecon-EBC and BC Hydro.
Way Kay LP leverages wider ROGA group competencies to complete various projects including right of way clearing, road building, grubbing and stripping, basic earthworks, and a variety of utilities related services.
